emergency flare
Emergency flares are the most simple and economical type of flare that complies with all the safety regulations but does not specifically play an important role in the reduction of emissions of greenhouse gases. These are typically used in combination with gas holder in biogas plants as backup flares.

Constructed to endure the time and be operative anytime, the objective of this flare is to run short time therefore the importance of its low cost. The emergency flare is designed to work with a semi-open flame. Its operation is completely automatic by only using relay controls. A burner control unit, which complies with EN 298, is integrated in the system to assure that no gas is released to the atmosphere without being burned. Even this simple model is provided with a slam shut valve, pressure switch, certified flame arrestor in the pipe line and flame supervision by UV sensor.
